Class Runs from August 28 - October 21, 2017 ” Embrace light. Admire it. Love it. But above all, know light. Know it for all you are worth, and you will know the key to photography.” – George Eastman -
Remember to pay close attention to where your focal point of the photograph is. Is it the source of light? Where is the light in this picture? Does it coincide with a focal point? Can you move in closer and position your body so that focal point and light are aligned?
My focus was the flag on the train and how creative it was. There's a little light shining from the right hand side. I mainly focused on the creativity that shows through light and darkness. I didn't want to move in too close with the shot cutting off the beauty of the train. Moving forward I will get closer shots.
In being drawn in by the painted surface of the train, you forgot to make light and composition the primary reason for every picture.
This also looks like it was photographed before you took this class before you started to learn about using light and close composition intentionally... The palm tree is the give away... remember, Only work take for this class during the class meeting time can count towards your grade....

ok I emailed you for more insight on the comment. Yes I remember the palm tree but this is a different post. I didn't realize it was not enough light.
