Class Runs from August 28 - October 21, 2017 ” Embrace light. Admire it. Love it. But above all, know light. Know it for all you are worth, and you will know the key to photography.” – George Eastman -
Remember Nehemiah that the main point of this assignment is to have natural, diffuse light fall on the front of the face. So in the bottom one for instance you are shooting into the light source and the face is in total shadow negating the point of the assignment.
Starting from the top… the top one is actually an interesting photograph of a window with the curtains tied… the person is secondary because the focal point is where the light is and in this case the light is in the window itself. The same thing on the next two images. If possible you want to not include the light source in the picture and you do that by putting your left shoulder against the same wall that the window is on and having your subject take a step back from the window.
